The driver(s) authorized to drive a rented vehicle should be aged over 21 or 25 as stipulated by Silhueta Azul Rent a Car, and depending on the type of vehicle rented.
In any case, the client and/or authorized driver(s) should hold a valid driving license issued more than one year ago. If the driver is less that 21 years of age but has a driving license of more than one year, he will have to pay an extra fee stipulated by Silhueta Azul Rent a Car.

Yes. With the autorization of the main driver, it is possible to associate another person, called an additional driver, with the same rental contract and his vehicle. At the moment of picking up the vehicle, the main driver and the additional driver must be indicated and the documentation of each identity card, passport and driving license must be indicated, the additional driver being subject to an extra charge.

Participate to Silhueta Azul Rent a Car in relation to rented vehicle through the number available 24 hours and the assistance in traveling (Number of contact with the vehicle documents, if the problem makes it impossible to move the vehicle).

Mention in the accident participation and in the joint accident statement the circunstances, date, time, and place of the accident, call the authorities and report to Silhueta Azul Rent a Car.

The customer expressly obliges to return the vehicle to Silhueta Azul Rent a Car at the Date/Time and Place Provided for in this contract (with a tolerance of 60 minutes). After this period an extra day is charged.

An extra value can be applied.

We only guarantee the reserved category and not the model.

In case of SCDW covering, if occurs any accident where the Silhueta Azul Rent a Car driver is guilty, this will be only responsible for the payment of the damages incurred until the amount of liability indicated on the first page of rental agreement.
In the case of the SCDW covering, if occurs any accident where the Silhueta Azul Rent a Car driver is guilty, such payment does not figure since the amount of liability defined for the SCDW will be always zero.
SCDW loses its validity in cases of negligence, misure of the vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol or other illegal substances.

Yes, you can make a reservation simulation and check the availability of the vehicles online without making a reservation. You can also contact our reservation center at (+351) 926 880 072.

You will receive a confirmation email containing the details of your reservation.

Yes, throught the reservation center (+351) 926 880 072 or email: silhuetazul@gmail.com; Always indicating the reservation number. The cancellation must occur up to 24 hours before the reservation date is not charged any value, after this period is charged the amount corresponding to a rental day.

No, mileage is unlimited.

Yes, it’s possible the services of deliveries and collections outside the offices, the delivery and collection is done according to your preference. You will have to request this service at the time of your reservation and an additional fee may apply.

The deductible can be reduced partially or totally by contracting optional insurance.

If this damage caused in the vehicles is the responsability of the driver during his rental, will be debited the amount corresponds to his repair up to the maximum amount of the deductible.

It is strictly forbidden, in all circunstances to move the rented vehicle for another island or country.

Yes, a through car check is always done, whether it is in the delivery as well as in the collection through our colaborator together with the driver.

Drop Off

Yes, you can notify us through our 24 hour advance notice. The extension is subject to availability of the vehicle and additional payment.

Parking tickets and any violation of the highway code are the responsability of the tenant, wich must be settled before returning the vehicle.

Need to contact Silhueta Azul Rent a Car in relation to any object left inside our vehicles, contact our reservation center. Silhueta Azul Rent a Car is not liable for loss of objects in vehicles.

Yes, it is possible to advise in advance with our contacts.

If you want to return the vehicle later than originally planned, please move to a rental station to renew your contract. Always bear in mind that the cover only protects you for the period mentioned in the rental agreement you made when you picked up the car.

To ensure that when your plane arrives we will be waiting for you.

All rental cars are covered by civil liability insurance for third parties with a minimum amount of coverage in accordance with local legislation. All cars include CDW (Collision Damage Waiver).

Usually local companies offer extra insurance locally, such as SCDW to reduce or exclude the value of the deductible.
